Green mash or black mash kitchri = aamchor and rocket chillies chutni with moli
Qabooli = lemon, onion and bullet chilles salad or tomatoe chutni
are you talking about gujarati khichri?? if yes then you can make a variety of veggie salans such as eggplant/aloo/matar curry, drumsticks with aloo, squash, etc. basically, anything with potatoes and gravy.
It depends on what's available at your super market. Other veggies include sinqua, pumpkin but you can cook up any 'desi' vegetable with potatoes and make a gravy. BTW, they don't get bored from eating kadhi every night so don't worry. You can however make some things to eat with chapati like Indian beans, okra, cauliflower, lentils, etc.
timatar ki chutney, qeema, raita, and paparr. mmm..... it used to be our friday routine too before i got married, moved out, and mum and dad left to live elsewhere. wahhh :(
