Please…no lecture on ‘everyday should be a mother’s day’/ ‘mother’s day is haraam’…blah blah.

Hmm, depends on what your mother likes, what does she enjoy. Take her out for dinner? Maybe a show. Does she need anything, get her that. Or tick to typical, perfume, giftset from victoria secret, maybe a spring jacket.
Or take her to a broadway show, or a dinner cruise, or even shopping.

What I'd like most of all is a day off!!! lol...no cooking, cleaning, housework, marketing, getting boyz dressed, cleaned up and fed etc etc. Just a day off!

^ Thanks. I have no idea what to do/get. I can't visit family that weekend and this is the first mother's day after I moved to this state. I have no idea what I'll be doing, if anything.

tats a brilliant idea. pamper ur mom and treat her like queen.

greet her with a breakfast u prepared urself in the morning. a bouquet of her fav flowers. bring her out to her fav places (shopping? movies? sightseeing?)

you could send her flowers if you live in a different place. I know you can place orders and they deliver to the address you give them.

Different parts of the world have Mother's Day on different dates

A cute idea: Make a calendar for her and for each month blow up a different picture of you guys from over the years. You can also write captions for each picture, like thank for XYZ, or you are the best mom because XYZ, or a touching verse of poetry. You can easily make this calendar yourself by printing off the pictures on glossy paper or getting them printed, and making the adjacent month pages on your computer and then getting it all bound together with a cover at a photocopy shop
