What to get for MIL...

So I have someone going to Pakistan. and I want to get something as a gift for my MIL who lives there.
In the past, I have bought handbags, perfume, shoes, sweaters for her.

So now i was looking for something different… or may be shoes again? cant decide… she is a very simple lady… any suggestions what i can get for her?

I don't know... she always wears the gold bandles and karras on special occasion.... and some gold choorian on daily basis....i have never seen her wearing watch.

my mil was never into fashion or beauty, but was always in the kitchen, i took her a microwave!!!! it was heaven for her. maybe there is a hobby or necessity that you can take from here, coz things WAAYYYY too expensive out there!

Get her gold earrings. One never has enough and I know they have a better collection back home but it's the gesture that will count as well as the fact that she could always wear them.

Or, a nice skin care system.

please get a nice outfit from Hilal Silk if possible get it stitched also so she can wear it and remember that you got it for her . Its the thought that counts and she will love it

I must be an awful DIL in this case as did not get my MIL anything when I visited Pakistan.... :p

But then again she insisted not to bring anything....
