A lot of good advices herE. I can understand what your atheist friend must feel like being an outcast in his own circle of friends. I will definitely recommend staying out of it and delete both of them from your facebook account. Your atheist friend will Grow out of his phase soon and begin to respect those that don’t share his beliefs. I was there once and I certainly fought and argued a lot with people but now I have learned to look past their faith and accept them as they are. Unfortunately, there aren’t a lot of people that will agree with your atheist friend and he has to learn to accept that. Stay out of it and he will surely return with an apology. I don’t apologiZe for not having reverting and I do not regret it for a sec. Things are more logical when you take religion out of the picture. That’s just me and h probably feels that way too. Give it some time

See its not about atheism. Its ok if he does not believe in religions, but blaming islam as a package for everything-wrong, is not correct.
