I know someone who is in a problem these days…but i don’t know how to help her…so what happened was that She gave $500 to someone who told her she will give her a job at her place, but everyone gives a $500 deposit before and start like learning stuff/ practice ect…now where she works, that place is filled with racist Indian women who help each other but treat her crappy (and probably people in Canada know what i am talking about)..they don’t help her and try to insult her…so now she wants her money back (its only been a week so i don’ t know its not possible for the woman to to return her the money)..but when she asked the woman she refused…is there a way to get the money back? she wants me to go with her but i can’t and i don’t want to, any other way? call the cops and tell them that she takes money and gives women jobs even without certificates etc..

*oh plus i don’t know if this is the right forum but yea i just posted it here..

If it was a deposit and she no longer wants to work there.. she shud claim it back. Was there any written contract?

Nope, this woman has some illegal ways of earning...people who work there have no qualifications which are needed...and since they can't work anywhere else she lets them work for her by getting them to pay her $500 for the time period they practice or just look around the place :s...after making them rot for year or so then probably she lets some work and earn money other wise its a waste of time.
