You could gift them. Or use them as decoration for desserts. Or perhaps melt them down to form a spread or base or filling.

in my house, words leftover and chocolate does not go together. In fact there is no such thing as leftover chocolate instead there is "dude where is my chocolate?" and "oh that was yours? burppppp"

I don't blame here. I can totally see myself getting tired of the store-bought truffles...especially the kind that are either chocolate through n through or have a liquidy filling. I like chocolate that contains nuts or nougat. And homemade truffles taste better than the Lindt variety...they're more fun to eat.

OP, If it's chilly where you live... As it is over here today....melt em down to make a cuppa hot chocolate.

:) Thanks everyone, I made hot chocolate with it, turned out really creamy and rich, for froth I added some marshmallows. I think it will go quickly now since I dont have any more hot chocolate/cocoa at hand. These are dark truffles from out fav chocolaterie Bernard Callebaut so we dont want it to go waste, and we were given a lot of these truffles this year because my son loves dark choclate but we can only eat some much.

I am thinking to melt and turn some of the truffles back to ganache and use it on the cupcakes...

This morning I made crepes, so I melted and spread 1 truffle/crepe, it was too good..
