What to do with HONEY?

Haha.

I was thinking to use it as a mask but its so damn confusing cuz there are like 101 masks recipies with honey and i dont know which one to go for.

Can anyone recommend me any particular one which they may have used and gotten good results?.

I can use it for minimising pores (tightening) or very light acne scars that i have or overall even skin tone.

*Well I don't know if this is of any use but I use a simple mixture of honey and milk (to form a paste) and apply all over to my face for about 10-15 mins - this gives the face a glow and leaves it looking fresh. It's a great quick fix for when you don't have time to cleanse, tone, exfoliate, etc.

Re: What to do with HONEY?

It's funny that you mentioned honey, because i was thinking of posting about it! For the past few weeks I've been using a honey and yoghurt mask, to date, the results have been noticeable, though not dramatic, namely my skin tone becoming brighter. I am hoping that with continued use ia the results will be greater.

I actually started using it to clear up some pigmentation that numerous sessions of microdermabrasion, and specialised cleansers failed to clear up. So far, although the pigmentation hasn't really lightened, my complexion has brightened.

And not forgetting that honey is a cure for everything, so why not a cure for our beauty concerns?

Forgot to mention that I used raw unpasturised honey.

Re: What to do with HONEY?

I was looking for some ways to use honey for the longest time and I came across these. Check them out!

Honey Cleansing Scrub: Mix 1 tablespoon of honey with 2 tablespoons finely ground almonds and 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice. Rub gently onto face. Rinse off with warm water.
Skin Toner: Puree an apple with one tablespoon honey in a blender. Apply this mixture for face and leave on for 15 minutes. Rinse with cool water. This makes a great toner.
Firming Face Mask: Whisk together 1 tablespoon honey, 1 egg white, 1 teaspoon glycerin and enough flour to form a paste (approximately 1/4 cup). Smooth over face and throat. Leave on 10 minutes. Rinse off with warm water.
Smoothing Skin Lotion: Mix 1 teaspoon honey with 1 teaspoon vegetable oil and 1/4 teaspoon lemon juice. Rub into hands, elbows, heels and anywhere that feels dry. Leave on 10 minutes. Rinse off with water. If you have a dry skin, take one tablespoon honey in a bowl and add one teaspoon milk. Mix well and smooth it over face. Rinse off with lukewarm water after ten minutes. Your skin will feel soft instantly.
Hair Shine: Stir 1 teaspoon honey into 4 cups warm water. After shampooing, pour mixture through hair. Do not rinse out. Dry as normal.
Hair Conditioner: Mix half a cup of honey with two tablespoons olive oil. If your hair is very dry, add a three tablespoon. Section off your hair and coat it well with the mixture. Cover your hair with a shower cap so you don't mess up the entire house. In addition, the shower cap traps heat from your scalp, enabling the oils to penetrate further. Wash off after half an hour.
