Never seen/heard such thing ever happened. Well, have anyone of you leaded a Namaaz as Jamaat? (in case if you reached late and the jamaat is over then two or more then two start another Jamaat) If so then I guess you'll have more fear then reading behind an Imam b'coz all the time you'll fear that what if in your namaaz, there is no Khushoo & Khudhoo and on the day of Judgement you'l be held responsible for ruin of your namaaz as well as on behalf of all those who prayed behind you.
I think the Imam is fully prepare when he leads a Jamaat and be sure that such incident shouldn't happen while leading Jamaat.

Mein ne kab kaha ke woh insaan nahi hai? btw will you gonna break ur namaaz willingly by doing such act? I guess NO. So Imam who leads a jamaat surely knows what is his responsibility and Imams know this is a very big responsibility, won't gonna do such thing. :)

but here i see every other guy leading Jamaat, not the right thing to do for sure, but they do. Mostly in Pakistan you are not allowed to make second Jamat in any masjid (except few ahl-e-ehadees masajid) but here in the UAE, seriously sometimes there are 3-4 jamat, even more. people start jamat in last or second to last saff, and then there is no more place for new comers, they start standing next to imam himself, sometimes imam moves one saff ahead if there is space, and people get confused what to do.

Aap kya jaga jaga hawaa chortay phitay hain? If answer is no then do you have any magical power?
What LKK is saying that imams are prepared for leading Salat, and unless there is some emergency, the breakage of wudu does not happen. And byw, the breakage does not happen only because of passing gas. It could happen because of bleeding from gums or old wound for instance.
Then he will be held accountable for his own void prayer and all the people standing behind him. Their prayer will be accepted if they remain without knowledge of this fact.
what if the imam passes gas loudly so everyone knows he lost his wadu but still decides to continue his prayer because of sharam? since the prayers of the muqtadis won't be accepted according to you, what are they supposed to do?

The onus would be on the imam, the prayers of the rest should be accepted even if the continue praying behind him.
