I thought that when a reliable witness announces that the moon has been sighted you are supposed to celebrate eid. And I think the London mosque is a reliable witness. None of the mosques in our area are doing it. Does that mean you should go with the mosques or what. It is haram to fast on Eid.

Should follow the local mosque ... or if you are in taqleed ( goes for shia muslims ) follow your ayatUllah ...

Go with your local mosque , all the azzab and sawab will be those who are responsible to announce the citation of moon. Inshalllah.
