I admit I do have a problem…
…I over commit myself to things/tasks that in the end leave me sulking:(…I have a problem to saying no at times…ok …most of the times…There r times that I just add to my plate even when I know it’ll drown me, and somehow I believe thatI’ll be able to complete those tasks…(which Basically in the end I do end up doing in the nick of time…but end up losing any or all of my free time…and ofcourse the sulking part…)…I guess at times just trying to be too nice:bummer:…Whats wrong with me??? Why do I add things that I either hate doing in the end…just makes me feel like a pushover:crying:…Ok I had my complaining…now off to the Task that I need to send in b4 12pm…![]()

Re: What to do for a person , who always over commits??
You should know what your priorities are.
If you have set some time out for yourself, well then it is YOUR time, don't let people meaninglessly intrude into it.
And yes, learn to say no. It will not be easy initially, but if you do it once, you'll know how to do it the next time.
don't try to please everyone, you'll just end up being taken for granted.
Re: What to do for a person , who always over commits??
I have the same problem - can't say no.......and over the past few years it's now taken it's toll on me - I suffer from seriously high Blood Preessure and have NO time for me, meaning I can't concentrated on myself one bit even though I desperately need to.
Even on the RARE occasion I manage to say NO - I feel so guilty I end up doing twice as much for the next time I get asked!!!!!
