I like talking to people…but many times I get the impression that the other person may not want to talk so I don’t bother.

"One Hundred Years of Solitude" is a tour-de-force. It shakes you inside out. Another one I love is "Love in the time of Cholera".

umm during the flight u can watch tv..like most ppl do..or u can read books (if u can manage to read in the plane), or u can take several naps(thts what i do)! or try killin the time by taking frequent visits to the restroom n walking up and down the aisles!
While on airport u can shop, eat, queitly sit in the lounge and notice ppl around u..it depends on what airport r u at..!

Its really difficult for me to read on board, however with infligth entertainment is good to pass time besides sleeping.

During transition: I always listen to iPod and stare out the window at the planes lol cuz everytime I go to Pak, I take the same spot @ Manchester Airport which is by the window & kinda “hidden” 
During flight: I listen to iPod, read books, watch some tv, play cards if I find some1 to play with lol and sleep (which is rare)

Love to socialise and make new friends....otherwise reading magazines or filling up my diary/journal..

If i were travelling within europe i go out of the airport and go for a walk in the city and when its time to board again be back, otherwise staywithin the airport and make friends, on the flight itself either go to sleep or watch a few films. Reading magazines or books, i ve never done and never liked.

Depends on how long is the transit
Its its only 1-2 hours long:
I use washroom and get fresh up. If airport has day room, i take a bath too and eat something local
If its more than 5-6 hours:
In addition to washroom and batch, I take a nap
If its more than 12 hours:
Of course Airline is bound to give us hotel room and i take a sleep and watch news on cable so that i dont miss out on whats happening when i was in the Air
and during flight
- listen to music
- read books
- read news paper
- talk to person sitting next to me
- watch movies (if freaking entertainment system is working)
- take a nap

best thing to do during flight, as some other people have pointed out before, is talk to the person next to you(espically ture on long flights). youll def. meet some intresting people

With the exception of the flights that I took with my family, there was no one interseting sitting next to me.
Anyway, I spent my time reading, watching in-flight movies, and sleeping. I must say I really enjoyed sleeping for 7-8 hours on a 9 hour flight.

I typically find that The Economist makes an excellent read on a long flight.
I will buy the latest issue at the airport and it provides plenty of excellent reading material. Between The Economist and naps even the longest journey feels short.
I get annoyed if I am trying to read The Economist but the person beside me keeps trying to talk to me
