My fiance calls his mom ‘maa’ and his dad ‘baba’. I call my parents mom and dad so I think about this too. I think I’ll just end up calling his mom ‘maa’ too, anything else will be awkward to transition into, especially since you start out by calling them ‘uncle’ and ‘auntie’ and since he calls them to begin with, it wont be any different. He calls my parents auntie and uncle and I dont think he’ll change it once we’re married.
