Or should there just be an open food station for most of the night? I’m not sure about how food fits into the order of events..
Re: What time should food be served at a mehndi?
nah if you are facing time constraints
which is usually 6-10pm food will be served around 8:30 to 8:45 pm
ask your food provider he will guide enough
Re: What time should food be served at a mehndi?
Food shud b served as soon as the groom's side brings in the Mehndi
Re: What time should food be served at a mehndi?
I would recommend:
-appetizers as guests arrive
-prompt entrance of groom, then bride
-followed by brief rasams (bringing mehndi, feeding bride and groom, singing some songs, etc). but if your circle is the type where every auntie/uncle/child has to go up and perform the rasam, then maybe you should serve dinner then, so that various things can be going on at once.
-dinner served (maybe around 8:30?)
-dancing or other mehndi festivities, dessert could be served during this time too

Thanks everyone! S02- I think I'll stick what you're saying. Hopefully the rasms won't take too long.

Our food just be served when the groom's side is present.
