What this hypocrisy again

some of my pakistani friends are opposed to influence of indian channel claiming urdu is getting batsdardized by hindi…When I ask them the question if not for hindi.sanskrit persin/arabic *******ization ( woudl rather call it fusion) there would be nothing like urdu so any urdu speaker beingi anti fusion sounds like denying its own orgin..

my two cents..

Re: What this hypocrisy again

^whatever...Did they let you out early from your call center job today?
Go to a hindu board and explain the *******ization of Geeta by LANkan bandar

Re: What this hypocrisy again

Think of it this way…

The late actor, Raj Kumar, never in his life spoke Hindi…He always spoke thick and very proper Urdu even when talking informally…That was his trademark which everyone knew…

He made Urdu sound good with the way he talked in his own indubitable style…

Now just imagine him speaking in Hindi such words such as, chirittar, parikshay, chitarhaar, bhaawnaain, binti e.t.c…

Urdu is a sweet, melodious, rhythmic, flowing language like long stretches of silk sweeping across the back of a long haired virgin…

Hindi is like the rag cloth in which potatoes are shipped…

Re: What this hypocrisy again

Re: What this hypocrisy again

This is one big reason why don’t have B4U or zee or any other indian channel at home. I would not want my kids to get influneced by it. I tried ARY but it was totally crap…most people were obsessed with speaking English rather then Urdu..Ya I got rid of all of them

Re: What this hypocrisy again

Urdu originated in "Hindustan", not India :p.... Urdu didn't reach Pakistan, but Pakistan reached Urdu :D (Urdu came into being lot before Pakistan did).
