Not really surprising for anyone who had met him or worked with him but I thought the way it was written was hilarious :smiley:

a description of Nawaz Sharif as described by senior US officials as ā€œan
unusually dull, muddled politicianā€ prone to ā€œa bovine placid gaze in
private messages, where he sometimes read awkwardly from note cardsā€

Never heard some thing as funny as this one. Never liked NS but after all, he was our leader. Must be respected a bit, at least by us.....:)

Haris: The book is basically about 9/11...it had some other interesting bits about attempts by the CIA to capture Osama in 1999 and how they trained a Pak commando team..

Umer: Well its rare for a book to include what senior US officials thought of Pakistani leaders. I would say the only other book to mention is the Pakistan papers.

I met him couple of times and i agree with the statement whoever wrote this.
