I have been running XP (Whistler) beta on two of my Lab PCs. I am totally undecided. Technologically, it’s a leap. Performance is poor. The ability to choose your own skins is great. Integration is awesome. But, I think I am going to wait till 2003!

who-me, I think its 300MHz w/ 128MB and 1 GB of free space. Minimum requirements, mind you!

Actually the skins thing is based on XML, so it won't be as 'heavy' on your processor as it looks!
And by the way, there are going to be two versions, one for the home user and the other for professionals. I guess I'll finally upgrade from my Win98 to this baby... and I won't have to run WindowsBlinds to make it look cool!!!

I was also never so keen on skins for Windows… All those programs take away some or a few of the functions, but coz this is a built-in fucntion in XP… So I will surely give it a try.

If it’s more stable then Win98SE, then I’m surely going to move. I’m glad they’re finally moving to pure 32-bit architecture.
But, anything should be better then WinME.
