So I have my laptop on my home network. Printing is pretty smooth but today I’m trying to print a measly one page Word document and it is taking forever to load. Then it prints out a page giving the following error:

There just a small logo image and a paragraph of text. I’ve restarted the printer a couple times already. Any suggestions?

is it just this doc that fails or nothing can be printed? if it is just this one, you could convert it to pdf, and print the pdf file.

OK, wait, so I need 40 copies. It prints 5 then stops. Starts the loading process again. And nothing. What's happnin'?

Today is one of those days I wish I had taken courses in setting up networks. I feel so handicapped. :hinna: If anyone needs me, I’ll be sitting in a corner and crying. I’m wearing a pink t-shirt today that says, “Life is Tough, Get Used to It” (copyright someone else).
Btw, I have printed the document from another computer that is hooked up to a printer. But now that I know I have a problem, it will nag me until I fix it. Will report back later.

oh dont worry, networking courses don’t help with printers. they are horrible creatures.

LOL, but my problem seems to be network related.

It seems like either the features you are using in WORD not supported by the printer or it's totally a driver/firmware incompatibility issue. Or try resetting your network (power re-cycle your modem and router).

JInx, I print documents like this one every day. So it isn't an app or a driver issue. Let me try the reset of the router. I've had trouble with that before.

You have a bad attitude. Printers are tuned to this. Just say Ommmmmmmmm!
