There is this known bug with iPhone 4and 4S why the heck they are not fessing up to it?
My wife’s 4S was not connecting to wi-fi the button got disabled. I googled and found Apple recommended fixes which did not work. Then I found some posts according to those posts when people went to Apple store to get that fixed they were told that it was hardware issue and they need to buy a new phone.
Then I saw a couple of youtube vids in which some geniuses have found an easy fix. Heat the speaker side of the phone and then let it cool and lo and behold it worked.
Can a lawyer on GS take up a class action suit against Apple and get rich and famous?

Didn't I say that I tried everything Apple tells you to do? They only fix is to give your iPhone a temperature shock to drain wi-fi chip. Some geniuses have discovered that and have post videos on youtube.

I have gone through more than 1 4s on different carriers and this is the first that I am hearing of it

They are trying to get a class action suit against apple right now for storage.

Issue is not related to changing the carrier but related to upgrade and/or temperature shock.
