i think the molvi's are always stupid lot.....althought the law does require seroius discussion over it (which unfortunatly no qualified/independent person is there to discuss over it)....
but taking things to extremes is just stupid.....
P.S. On the political front, i think its some move to take focus off of the GST problem recently, PPP people..like Taseer are deliberately giving out inflamatory statments to increase the fuss......so that political/constiiutional issues take a back seat..

WE can't do anything honestly, the thing is, no one cares about truth here anymore.
Isn't it illiteracy a couple of women coming saying, hey that woman said bad things of our prophet (PBHU), KILL HER! and the self-called representatives of Islam go killing her.
Plus, I myself am a Muslim, and i am proud of being one, but having someone killed for this doesn't make sense to me.
Will i stand my head up in front of my holly prophet (PBUH) on The Day and say, i had someone killed because he/she talked bad of you. I don;t think so.

the law needs to be carefully looked at.......because just mere utterance of words shouldn't be taken as an act of blasphemy........there needs to be some intent,continous,campaingn to accuse someone of this....which is never done..
and even it it is done.....if the defense succeeds...then the same punishment should be given to false accussur.......that will stop this quite a lot..
