your argument is weak because even in democracy you don’t have 10 leaders you have 1, in US the president is commander in chief the leader call him what you want, he has the final say.

in caliphate they have walis who have powers for their provinces independent of the caliph so your assumption of it being autocratic is based on what? who knows.

democracy is not best system and it does not work majority of the time you only have to look here in pakistan for its failure.

Obama does not have final say. There is constitution and judiciary. The ‘executive’ is only one of the 3 branches. All you have to do is pick up a reasonable newspaper to see Obama or any one person does not control a democracy.

If you want to argue a caliph is not an autocrat that is like saying fire is not hot.
