Yes, but muhajir is no ethnicity. The word muhajir encompasses people from all over the subcontinent.

There is a huge controversy re: who are Aryans and who are Dravidians. Lots of "Dravidian" languages have significant amount of Sanskrit in them.

Am reading "A Brief History of India" by Judith Walsh. The Harappan civilization had some writings that were "Dravidian".

Having said that, I learnt a lot about the various categories of people that have been listed here. Pretty exhaustive - must be a student of history? Nice work. (Cant quite match the humor here, but enjoying it all the same).

Since when are Tajiks and Pashtuns Iranian peoples? :konfused:
Most Pashtuns are Central Asian with majority of them able to trace lineage to the Naiman tribe and Saka’s etc

I am Altaic/Turkic

but why are all these sub cultures so important are we not all from one common ancestor… all the subs are technically branches of one great tree.

Urdu speaking Christian who's grandparents were Muhajirs. Thats not an ethnicity but w/e. I'm a Pakistani before that anyways.
