i really can’t speak for indian members(of all religions) here that were raised in India but I personally would think that most people would not want the indian government run on hindutva principles.

the problem there is that when a country is run based on religious laws, who speaks for God? whose interpretations of the words of God are taken to be right.

the judge will always be human(has the potential tobecome greedy about power, has the potential to become imbalanced or full of hate…), God would hardly be the one ruling the country.

And did it occur to you that many people in muslim majority country feel the same way? Or may be you are too prejudiced to think that muslims too like other people who want a balance between their religion, culture and aspirations.
