If they strived to be islamic in every way, they would be slamic in every way. Muslim majority countries feel that they are islamic enough according to their own social, cultural and religious standards.

Now in hindu majority country, i hear many people want to adopt hindutva, why are they not doing it?

i really can’t speak for indian members(of all religions) here that were raised in India but I personally would think that most people would not want the indian government run on hindutva principles.

the problem there is that when a country is run based on religious laws, who speaks for God? whose interpretations of the words of God are taken to be right.

the judge will always be human(has the potential tobecome greedy about power, has the potential to become imbalanced or full of hate…), God would hardly be the one ruling the country.
