i have attended few of the programs og Islami Jamiate Taliba during the school and college life.
normally my particiation were limited to attending aftar parties, mango parties ........ lols
once i attended a quiz program and won a prize inbeside i attended darse quran few times.
i never joined IJT as a member. as a non member i think it is very organised wing.
APMSO was also there in my college but they wud do nothing except once they forced us to attend the quran khani for their **"Suhahada" **by withholding our ID Card that were in the custody of librarian.
lesson i learnt that u can force ppl to partcipate the quran khawni............. lols
It was really odd for me to participate in any organization have some political ties with some mainstream political parties like Muslims students federation, Peoples students federation, Pukhtoon students federation and Islami jamiat-e-Talaba.
Because politics is a forbidden tree in Trible areas.
But when i went to karachi for study , i optionally joined a students organization known as Islami Jamiat-e-Talba.
I was active member at my university level, however could not got their final "Rukan" level , but had arrived to the "Emeedwar-e-rakan" level.
Being a stranger for the city and urban things , jamiat gave me many things, Interaction with different cultures people in pakistan.
like for the time I remained with jamiat our college Nazim's were Muhajir, Baloch, Sraikee(abotabad) , Punjabee and finally our class fellow a sindhee.
I still remember how was my urdu , but how it developed while be in very close interaction with Jamatees
secondly, I was hesitant for interacting with other than Pushtoons cultural people but jamiat brought me very close to Punjabis , baloch , sindhis etc.
Jamait is very organized and got the hang of how people gets organized.
Secondly how to measure once capability to influence others, analyse ones efforts.
I remeber our Nazim was asking us , for our prayers, study of Quran , hadith and Literatur plus Rawabith(person who was targeted for to bring to jamiat).
Flexibility , communication skills plus addressing others.
I remember it was Jamiat who brought me stage to address , how to address which our college/institute did not teach us.
Many things more which I may not accumulate in one single post.
