^ What I was saying is what Omar and Abu Bakr (RAA) were doing. The Quranic Law (Shariah), designed to protect man from sin, governs a human beings life but it is ultimately each persons choice to follow it. This should be kept seperate from State laws which are desgined to protect society from harm. It is true that they coincide at many points but there are some grave differences and mixing the two completely leads to → Afghan Christian Convert Situation.
However, all Shariah that have to do with protecting society can be made into state laws. :k:
