So this friend of mine. he is 27

he has had this online relationship with a girl, and he really likes her and all.

he was ready to send his parents to the girl’s when she dropped the bomb.

she had told him that she was 22 but now she said that actually she is 16 and that she is afraid her parents would go nuts.

now my friend is puzzled and confused. on one hand, he has the feeling that he found the perfect girl, but then he thinks he was cheated or something. he feels sort of guilty having courted a teenage girl.

so what should he do?

Is the ‘friend’ actually you? tbh this is what you get if its online and you’ve never met the person online. How could your friend honestly tell that shes ‘the one’? If you’ve never met each other. Its kinda weird sorry to say. Now that your friend has found out that shes 16, just drop it. Leave it. There is too much of an age gap. It wouldn’t work. Your friend is an adult and is more wise whereas the girl is barely a teenager. It couls be of course that the girl was just trolling on your friend, and intended to not ‘be with him’ at all. Just be more careful next time and for gods sake get to know the person properly and check if it is legit.
