What should leader speak about

We are witnessing jalsas after jalsas on almost daily basis, i like that, no matter who is having jalsa, it is a healthy activity, it provide people a point where they can breed some hope or at least provide them with some activity with the hope of getting rid of a govt they may not like…

Now the thing is, we are no more in 70s and 80s and 90s where whatever leader says people shout slogans, the political awareness is all time high and i think the leaders should prepare their speech carefully, that is, they should talk on the national issues along with solutions of the same, let the people know that if the leader have understood their problems and they do have practical and apt solutions to do so…

Re: What should leader speak about

:nono: My policies are my copy right material. Don’t ask me to disclose that. People are eager to steal them.

Re: What should leader speak about

All for it :k: … Pakistan has never been more politicaly awake and aware. Electioneering on empty slogans may not yeild any result anymore.

Having said that, I will still be fine with mere outlines of party agenda and won’t be asking — as some people on TV and GS do — for minute details of what they will be doing once they are in power.

Re: What should leader speak about

But if they don’t talk about them, how will we know what they are talking about?

If i am selling a investment project, then i have to open up most of the details of that project to the prospect buyer, often there is a public document, detailing the input and out come and all the details they should know…same goes to the political parties, they want to hold power by selling us dreams to get our votes, claiming that they are there to bring change in our lives in positive way! it is our right that they should open up about their policies, no vague or generic statements!!

Re: What should leader speak about

No body have time to speak or listen to details, but straight forward statements stating problems of particular region in accordance to the national level and their solutions would do.. for details-freak, the details should be available on the websites… as i said, it is no more 70s…

Re: What should leader speak about

Yes thats what people want to know. No one is master on all matters and therefore not require detailed plans, but general slogans are not enough. I think in Karachi jalsa, IK only gave hint that his team will soon come up with policies on major problems and that will be discussed through seminars. This is a good move, if acted upon.

Re: What should leader speak about

^^ See that is the problem, the preparation of jalsa only means gather people, arrange venue and stage and install microphones... whereas the core content has been forgotten by our leaders...

The first concept of Pakistan by Illama Iqbal was presented by Illama Iqbal in a Jalsa kind of gathering....the detail resolution of Pakistan was stated again in the Jalsa, so the common people should know what the people on the stage are talking about!!!

This should be one of the mandatory content to spill out the beans in the Jalsa when the momentum is high, the seminar and other such kind of meeting are normally attended by the party members...so the details to them doesn't mean much...

Re: What should leader speak about

Where do i find policies or general strategies of PML, PPP and MQM???

Re: What should leader speak about

As soon as PTI discloses its strategies you will find agenda/policy/promises of PPP/PML/MQM on their websites and soon all the goons will be on TV shouting at top of their lungs how they will fix everything ;)

Re: What should leader speak about

Let muqawwee123 and hanibal answer this :hmmm:

Re: What should leader speak about

That’s your only problem with the PTI? :bummer:

Re: What should leader speak about

I’ve already answer to NomiCA for this in another thread.

** If people made mistakes in past for choosing parties not having specific policies for solution of their problems, it doesn’t mean they again repeat this mistake when choosing a new option.

When we are hearing change slogans, then the party which is chanting such slogans should also know:

Hum hain nae andaaz kiyun ho purana?

Re: What should leader speak about

brother this is not answer to what i asked...........my question is simple........ where can i find policies of those parties........ i am not contesting whether/who should present the policies..or the rationale behind presenting the policies.....

simple question..

Baaqi parties ki policies kahaa per available hain.......taakay main unki policies ko dekhu.....or phir best policy wali party ko vote karon..

where do i find those policies?

Re: What should leader speak about

Leaders should speak about their policies, manifesto and goal. That is … what they intend to do if they come in power, and how they intend to do using available resources.

Manifesto of PPP:
http://www.ppp.org.pk/manifestos.html
http://www.pppuk.com/

(I searched all 3 sites and found no manifesto). It seems PPP has no manifesto other than Peo, Pillo aur mauj urrao.

Manifesto site is not working … because Zardari has hidden manifesto.

In GKB Zardari claimed that he has fulfilled 80 percent of PPP Manifesto. That means, what is happening in Pakistan … Roti Gayeb, Cheeni Gayeb, Electricity Gayeb, petrol Gayeb, Naukari Gayeb, etc … plus corruption rife, poverty rife, nepotism rife, mismanagement rife, loot and plunder rife, etc … this is PPP manifesto.

Anyhow there is one good thing about PPP Manifesto, that is they believe on sharing (Peo aur Pilao Party), and that means if they do looting and plundering they give others to do the same. PPP could have grabbed power in Punjab too if they wanted to … as PMLN did not had enough seats to form government in Punjab and PPP holding federal government could have easily formed Punjab government too. Anyhow, PPP gave government of Punjab to PMLN in 2008 so that PMLN could fill their pocket (what PMLN did very nicely).

PMLN Manifesto:

MQM Manifesto:

Re: What should leader speak about

Ok Bro. I'm not representative of existing parties... I hate all, they are the curse for our country. They are just hopeless. So I can't answer your question. Saleem has provided you some links.

From my part (being hopeless of all parties ) I want to know what the only hope and representative of change (Inqilaab) has to offer.

Re: What should leader speak about

Manifestos are good for paperwork, people here want 'specific strategy for specific problems'.

Re: What should leader speak about

That is what I wrote above, that is, party should tell people what they intend to do if they get into power ... and how they intend to do using available resources (that is what percentage of GDP they intend to invest in what sector).

As for how much party keeps their promises is different matter. That is why I never like to trust people in politics who deceive others (even their own voters) with lies neither I trust people in politics who exploit people (mostly vulnerable voters) using false promises.

Re: What should leader speak about

thanks......

Re: What should leader speak about

Leader ka honest aur sincere hona sab sey pehli aur main requirement hai :). vision/policies/plans etc. sab baad ki baatein hein...yeh sab bahane hein

Re: What should leader speak about
