Well I think you said it yourself Afia.......you're tired.
Don't feel so bad about it, he'll have forgotten about it by the time he's woken up. You have 3 very young children and it's pretty exhausting work managing that and run the household. Everyone's entitled to an off day.
i do that too sometimes be mean to my loved ones.
and i hate myself for it afterwards too…

i think it was just one of those bad days.....
n well...i think i was really tired ....constantly busy frm 5 a.m. till midnight ...n getting 5 hrs of sleep ....kids , school, household.....i just couldn't control my temper when he was fighting with elder one fotr 6th time in an hour ....!
but well...i think i'm back in senses now ....:-)

Putting some 18-hour-days here and there is one thing, but if this is becoming more of a regular feature than you need to sit down with your spouse and figure things out. Human body and human mind has a capacity, and while we may pride ourselves on taking on a lot, its not a good idea to put so much pressure on your body and mind on a consistent basis. If you need to re-arrange your schedule some what, you need to do that. If some of the responsibilities need to be delegated, it should be done.
