What seemingly trivial thing brightens your day?

Re: What seemingly trivial thing brightens your day?

There are many books. The one I just finished was Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. I usually am not drawn to fantasy, but I loved this one. I had recommended it to Hareem and she enjoyed it as well. It’s written in a way that even adults can easily get into it. I liked the idea of kids with peculiar abilities combined with time warping…the concept of a loop etc etc. Each kid had their own unique personality along with peculiar talent and they all comes together so cohesively. The author collected vintage photographs and weaved an amazing story out of them…and he included the photos in the book. I read that Tim Burton might be making a movie on it and if so I’m not surprised…and I’m very intrigued as to how he’ll manage it… As the book is usually better and the movie tends to leave out so much. I’m looking forward to the sequel, Hollow City now.

Re: What seemingly trivial thing brightens your day?

whatever time my shift starts (variable), she wakes up to prepare my breakfast/lunch, and chai. No matter what time it is, that’s just awesome. I get my homemade food and don’t need to spend it on stupid coffee places. It’s not easy to wake up for others at a time when u’d rather be sleeping in comfy bed

Re: What seemingly trivial thing brightens your day?

I work in night and in the morning when I’m driving back home I love the fresh breeze, color, silence and empty roads.

Most of all the breakfast my mother cooks for me, best thing in the whole world. The taste is just so amazing and that’s the only time of the day I crave to eat. Then I sit next to her and then we talk and laugh.
