Many here know my interest in the state of affairs in Pak’s film industry. So I’d like to ask you to rank the following aspects of films as to what attracts you to a movie theatre to watch a movie (pak, indi, or amriki, or other)
story
acting
actors
production company (the name - as in oh this is a spielberg movie - i’ve gotta see this one)
script/story
type of movie (ex. fantasy, romance)
locations shot at
fashion (dresses, sets)
camerawork/lighting/editing technology/special effects - like dolby sound, etc.
music/singers/soundtrack
choreography
anything else you can think of
Good story line, Cinimatography, special effects, coool characters. Sometimes romance if it has a good story and characters I like. My favorite movies, dumb but still love them
1.Predetator
2.Lord of the Rings
3. Conan
4. Dumb and Dumber
5. Something About Mary
Definitely actors is a big factor. I can't stand Bruce Willis for example, so any film of his I avoid, even though some of them have turned out really good, like Die Hard for example.
Directors is also a big consideration because when the original directors aren't around to oversee the sequels they are invariably crap.
