All the problems being faced by the Muslim world is due to the simple fact that they've strayed out of the path shown by the noble Prophet (PBUH).

Throughout the annals of world history, there's no other example where we find a noble ruler, a mighty general, a great peacher, a path breaking social reformer all embodied in one soul.

Sometimes I wonder how apes like Mullah Omer and Bin Laden claim to be follower of this Noble Man.

A real shame. After trying to defend Hindu practices on this Forum and not joining in when other Guppies mock them, i can't express to you how disappointing it is to read such a comment from yourself, Anand. At the very least, you could extend the same respect towards other faiths - you don't have to agree with their precepts, just respect them. For all your comments about Muslims being the most intolerant individuals on earth, i think it might very well apply to others as well who are not Muslim.

Jagjeevan, I agree. It deeply saddens me to see that. I wonder how leaders of any faith would feel when they see what their followers are doing in their name today. Hopefully people like yourself, and others, hopefully all of us with a similar mindset could impact our societies to decrease the hatred and violence that has been going on.

Joe Leigh Simpson, Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the North Western University in Chicago in the United States of America. Professor Simpson said: It follows, I think, that not only is there no conflict between genetics and religion, but in fact religion can guide science by adding revelation to some traditional scientific approaches. From my studies and from what I have learned throughout this conference, I believe that everything that has been recorded in the Qur’aan 1400 years ago must be the truth, that can be proved by the scientific means. Since the Prophet Muhammad could neither read nor write, Muhammad must be a messenger who relayed this truth which was revealed to him as an enlightenment by the One Who is an eligible Creator. Therefore, I think this is the time to say ‘Laa ilaaha illallah’, that there is no Allah to worship except Allah, ‘Muhammad Rasool Allah’, Muhammad is messenger of Allah...

Professor Armstrong, Scientist works at NASA, I am impressed that how remarkably some of the ancient writings seem to correspond to modern and recent Astronomy. There may well have to be something beyond what we understand as ordinary human experience to account for the writings that we have seen.

Professor Dorja Rao, It is difficult to imagine that this type of knowledge was existing at that time, around 1400 years back. May be some of the things they have simple idea about, but do describe those things in great detail is very difficult. So, this is definitely not a simple human knowledge.

just a small correction. we do not worship the Prophet Muhammad, we believe that he was a prophet of God, like Moses, and Abrahan and Noah and John and Joseph, but we do not worship the prophets, just God.

The statements of Malcolm X indicate how a person can really see the true meanining of Islam if he looks into it, Malcolm X's initial statements were teh typr of race based hatred that Elijah and the Nation of Islam movement stood for. However as malcolm X studied islam and found the true essence rather than the racist adultered views of the Nation, he changed his views and stated that quite openly.

I agree though, I dont find anything funny about that statement from his nation days.

I understand the Muslim concept of not "worshipping" Mohammed, but by Mo's previous posts, it appears as though he does. As for the mainstream opinion, would it be accurate to say that Muslims emulate Mohammed? What word would one use to describe a people that base all their actions - from everything from how to eat, sleep, speak, sit, stand, dress and groom - on those used by someone they find worthy to follow? Idolize, revere, admire, adore, respect? It comes close to worship.
