Assume that the Chinese occupied Uttar Perdesh and kicked all the Indians out of there. Also assume that the rest of India cannot 'match China's force'. The Indians protesting against it are termed 'terrorists' and 'brought to swift justice'. The UNO and other organisations can only sit and watch (maybe encourage?).
Would you recommend the same option to the Indians?

You don't have to assume. India already has territorial claims on China. But you don't see Indians throwing little firecracker rockets into China.
After 1962 humiliation, India learnt its lesson and spent next 30 years building up its army by pouring in $billions and $billions. That now it is difficult for China to attack India willy nilly.
Similarly China had teritorial claims on Hongkong. But it didn't start throwing Qassams into Hong Kong did it? No Siree they built themselves up economically instead and then finally "negotiated" with UK.
Oh well that's the difference between civilized and mature societies of China and India vs. the tribals in the Middle East.
On a very simple note:
Hamas doesn't realize that you don't play with fire, unless you are willing to go all the way. Now that Israeli response has come, Hamas is crying.
May be Hammas and its supporters need to learn the basic fact "Don't go into the kitchen if you can't stand the heat. ".
