A survey was done by a university in Beirut, stating that 87% of Lebanon supported Hezbollah. This was during the 2006 war with Israel. Since then Hezbollah has a large say in the government and the new parliamentary elections later in 2009 with the implications of the Doha Agreement will also prove to Hezbollah’s gaining popularity in Lebanon.
