Hey all! I’m getting married this summer and need to get my fiance a wedding band. We aren’t planning on getting white gold bc men can not wear gold and that is the same thing, so I was wondering what type of metal wedding bands did you all give to your fiance/husbands at your wedding? There are a lot of metals but some are really cheap and I don’t want to look cheap when I have such a nice engagement ring. Is platinum the best alternative?

at our mangni, i put a sterling silver band on his finger (now that i think about it, i don't know why we got him a ring, i think my paindoo, psycho jetaani said it was necesssary or something) but at our wedding/nikkah, his real wedding band that we bought was platinum.

hubby has a titanium band. he needed something lightweight because he's unused to wearing a ring and thought a different metal would be too heavy on his finger. as well, titanium is scratch-resistant so he can wear it while playing sports and it won't get damaged.

two tone zirconium with a black zirconium middle.. hubby doesn't like shiny stuff.

The whole point of men not being able to wear silks n gold is because of its value...they wud b the most expensiv commodities at the prophets time. We all know platinum is more expensive than gold, men should not be allowed to wear such jewellery. Silver is the highest value of metal a man should and can wear. I got my hubby a silver band and everyone complimnts how great it looks

You can get a palladium ring if he wants something dull and that doesn't weight much :)

ive got my fiancee a palladium ring because apparently all the jewelers were saying that palladium content is the same as platinum but its just cheaper. Made sense to get a palladium ring..hes tried it on and it looks really nice on him

Yeah Palladium isn't dull , its as much shinny than platinum but is more affordable almost half the price of platinum and is a softer metal as compared to platinum
