What MEN want...

That's wonderful :)

Go with it NJGAL !

I already did that for him 5 years ago. I am running out of ideas. The only thing I haven't done is popped of a cake!

Why i can’t think of it, go with it. Try “Paris Cheese Cake” :halo:

Re: What MEN want…

If he is in to art/culture…

Get front row seats for some special Broadway show.. buy him some vacation (alone) .. I bet he will thank you thousand times ..

:hinna:

:smilestar: for implying that I’m miss piggy

I already mentioned he hates musicals and being alone. He slept through most of Chicago (even with gwenth paltrow scantly clad in it)

I did get him a vacation last year and got my parents to babysit the girls. That was a lot of fun.

Like I said - he’s a hard person to shop for.

U2 tickets are already sold out for NYC.

Re: What MEN want...

Do the car thing man, if I could drive and I was a man, I would like to live life in the fast lane for atleast one day.

That was just an example..

You miss the point “Alone” to some exotic location :halo:

who said that? Try this or ebay:
U2 Tickets - U2 360 Tour Concert Tickets at StubHub!

yeah milly - he would definately like it. I wish I could drive a stick shift (I seriously doubt they are automatic :))

Thanks for the great idea!

I am not sending MY MAN to any exotic anywhere - esp alone - me with a baseball bat okay …

Thanks for the link (conflicts with Eid but probably can make it work)

You are welcome

I am going to blow my own horn and say I am being quite useful today (makes a nice change innit!).

P.S I like lemon and poppyseed muffins. ;-)

his birthday is months away, right?

:smack: … ufff.. girls..jeeeeezzz..

I ocasionally bake but I'll make my husband make some nihari for you :)

no birthday is two weeks away and that’s why I am scrambling.. but tickets can be prurchased in advanced right.

U.S open is always fun but been there done that

Re: What MEN want…

I don’t know if someone has already suggested the following, cos i haven’t bothered reading all the posts…

My hubby and i, for the last couple of years, have stopped buying each other “tangible” gifts, as we both buy each other stuff all the time, so birthdays and such occasions in our case is an excuse to do something together that is special, spontaneous, fun and crazy!

To name a few: bungee jumping, hot air ballooning, car racing at track days, rally driving, powerboating, chocolate making, wakeboarding, fencing, clay shooting, sky diving, scuba diving, sailing, aerobatic stunt flying… i even helped my hubby get his PPL

Trust me, try one of the above… you’ll be known as the coolest wife ever :hehe:

Re: What MEN want…

Re: What MEN want...

What men want:

-A new world of warcraft Wrath of the Lich king Collector’s edition. :@:
-An Epic laptop with Counter strike on it with a dual speced mouse and ear phones.
-A new edition catalog for every cellphone there is in the world.
-10 newly released Cellphones. :@:
-PSP :chai:
-Ps3
-Xbox360.

You get the idea. :chai:
We rarely spend on clothes. Meray to jo mainay 10 saal pehlay liye thay abhi tak chal rahay hain :snooty:

I agree with your maroush - Over the years - I have become somewhat of a minimilist.

But with his fear of heights - I rather not do the CRAZY part. Ever since we have had kids - I totally understand the logic behind parents taking two different flights across the ocean concept.

But I do like to get him something and put some thought in it. The guy rarely spends on himself. Everyone else comes first.

And I am sucker for pretty wrapping paper and a bow.

BTW what is a PPL?

Are you related to the director saab?
