Salaam girls! I was wondering if anyone knows what mehndi cone or powder brand gives the best colour?
Also is it better to get your mehndi done before your actual mehndi function or just have it done during the ceremony?

i have a trick that i do before i buy a cone mehendi app thori si mehndi nikalo and put it on ur finger top and rub it between ur fingers... us mein color hoga to ap ki finger orangeish hojaey gii aur agar na hua to it wil just be the green mehndi colour....
and i always tell my brides ke shaadi se eik din pehle lagwa lein...but it also depends on when the bride has time.....

I think it's good to get it done the day before the mehndi function - I did. It can get too distracting during the function and you may be disappointed by the result.
To overcome spoiling the design on the actual day if you have it done the day before, use a tissue or leaf in the palm of your hand for people to put mehndi on during the mithai/mehndi bit. although some elder in the family will always insisting on applying to your nails and completely missing!!!!

I got it done the day after the mehndi function (day before the wedding). I guess traditionally the idea is the groom's side is bringing mehndi for the bride (it's all symbolic, of course), so she should have it for the wedding day. Plus you don't want it to get too light for the wedding.

I find Rani Kone gives excellent colour result, but it also depends on whether your hot-blooded or cold-blooded people say...
Best bet is to have it done either 1 or 2 days before wedding day as effect will be better.

Thanks Girls! I've tried Dulhan mehndi and it comes out nicely on me but I was wondering if there's a better brand...
Does anyone have tips on how to make the mehndi color come out darker??

Dab with sugar water and lemon juice. Avoid water for as long as you can without being gross.

There's a mehndi called "emergency" yes alot of chemicals but turns out really red! Apply vicks or tiger balm when the mehndi dries-up!

i use mustard oil ore almond oile on my brides ...and wash ur mehndi of with warm water

musarrat cone of meena bazaar..amazing..or saeed ghani's emergency cone...but for some reason it goes away as quick as it comes on!
anyone heard of uroosas in bahadurabad karachi?...any experience?...whats the colour quality, I heard the design is amazing...plz lemme know!

mussarat goes away very fast but saeed ghani is best. one of my aunt bring it for me from karachi. they gave the guarantee for 6 months.
