Ok so I have been obsessing over the amazing makeup looks in Pakistani drama serial lately. Im not a big eye shadow person but would love to try those pink and neutral shades used on Saba Qamar in ‘Digest Writer’ type dramas.
Does anyone know which brands or any special shades or techniques they use?. Any Youtube videos would be helpful as well.

I havent seen the particular drama you are talking about, but from the sound of it, you are probably referring to the nude make up? You can find youtube tutorials under such heading.

Since its obviously for TV so its gotta be high pigmented colours. Hard to tell what brand being used? I would agree with one the posters about 'Kryolan' brand, because it is for tv/theatrical purposes.
As goes for techniques; you just gotta learn the basics first like, patting the eye shadow on the lid/blending transitional colours with the rest of the colours, winged eyeliner/fake lashes. etc. You can't become a pro right off the bat, but step by step
There are many videos that you can learn by watching and also with time and practice. I would recommend you watch 'Goss makeup artist' He's good and explains everything really well.

ya i thnk the kryolan stick foundation or the tv stick is used as a foundation thats wat gives such flawless skin even in high def etc i dnt htnk those foundations r for everyday use tho for normal ppl.

lol when i first started watching hum tv i noticed all actresses had a tinge of yellow on their face and a tinge of orange on the lips. Later i realised that they probably play around with the filters for these dramas because the background is always colourful as oposed to ary or geo and noone in real life has a yellow or orange tinge to them. slightly off topic but i realised this from the british show 'made in chelsea' as they use filters to make everything look slightly yellowy? so kinda inferred.
i even got orange blushes because it looked nice on ayeza khan in mere mehrbaan so your not the only one lmao

Yes, for colours. Kryolan makes super pigmented shades. Half their ranges don't even make it to Pakistan. And also their foundation application (also by kryolan) are so mask like it's easy to apply lighter shades and have them pop out.

Thats very interesting! I tried using yellowish foundations because they look really good in pics especially.
Like i have Kevyn Aucoin sensual skin enhancer in no. 5 and its quiet yellowish but thick so I always end up wearing it to parties because how good the shade looks on me.

The yellow filter or whatever it is they’re using for Made in Chelsea quite irritates me.. the people all sort of blend into each other.. or in my head they do

the drama you are referring to..digext writer… i think urban decay’s naked pallet 1 & 3 has been used by saba qamer most of the times..i loved her make over too
