Urdu poetry is full of such shairs:
Apni ankhoon ke samundar me utar jane de
Tera mujrim hoon mujhe doob ke mar jane de

kisi ki mohabbat mein doob k dekho
bada hi khubsurat samander hai khudkhushi k liye…
So… muhabbat ho to khudkushi… muhabbat main nakami ho to khudkushi… ye Muhabbat main maut itni achi kiyun lagne lagti hai, ke baqol Ghalib:
Muhabbat mein nahin hai farq jeenay aur marnay ka
Ussay dekh kar jeete hain hum, jis kaafir pe dum niklay

But psyah Bhai... Its the love, which make things related to someone loveable... Then its all about stages of love... some could only reach love of mortal people and some could attain love of the immortal.
