In your view, what characteristics make a manager, supervisor or “higher-up” professional and efficient? Give some examples. 
What makes excellent supervisor? Well first thing to be patient, motivate and inspire.
Be patient, if they are learning through mistakes!. Damn right..mistakes. It will happen..but keep coaching them so they don't make the mistake again. And always tell them to ask question as many time possible, until they understand. It's OK..no one is perfect..
Motivate - Motivate them..if they completed task. Say THANK YOU for doing things. Great job!.
Inspire - That is first and foremost - But inspire by being best example yourself. If you want to give them any tip to improve, make sure ya do this one on one.
