I’ll talk about past experiences, so there is no generalizing going on here. Again, I am not speaking for all of mankind lol, so yeah there you go!
It usually starts with friendship. I think after high school/college there’s never been like omgz I gotta have her type situation at first sight. Most often, you get to know someone, most likely someone you probably didn’t expect to meet. You become friends and stuff. As time passes, you start to talk more, becoming closer, and the barriers around the heart come down. You probably don’t even realize it and then one day BAM! It hits you. You’re like omgz I gotta have her! It’s just a realization that you are feeling more for the person than you would for just a friend, and it can be a beautiful thing. And yes, then you do get attached to the person. Anyway that’s all the embarrassment allowed for today.
