Yes indeed. That was our great mistake. We should have remained non-alligned then.
and more was letting those afghanis to enter and live freely in Pakistan , they should have come and seek political asylum in proper manner , so by now we have a proper database of people from afghani origin living in Pakistan.

Now blame Afghans. These poor Afghans have become an easy scapegoat for every problem this country is confronting.
well don’t know what made ya call them poor , I assume it would be still same , but back 6-7 years if u have gone to the allotted area to them in Karachi ( suhraab Goaat ) , you find them doing every bits of crimes one can even think of .
I was more or less criticizing the administration who let them do this.
And if they are poor by any means, they aren’t locking themselves in churches , going on hunger strike demanding to be gifted by a thing known as political asylum. hell , it just happened here few months a go !

This is a broad generalization. You'll find every kind of criminal in every community.

No, but it requires vision and wisdom to think about all such issues and plan intelligently to handle all such situation well in time.
As far as Afghans are concern, they may not be totally innocent. But their role is more or less the same as that of Tribals.
Afghans were not only used in Afghan War rather they are extensively used in Kashmir War, even now if you visit Azak Kashmir, you will find these Afghans there as part of some organizations.
