Seriously Urdu was not my first language, and while I can certainly get by in the World with what I have… afterall I have got this far… it’s not as brilliant as it could be.

I tend to think of Patowari as my first language though maybe becuase I spent so long up North Naiman and Pashto are just as fluent.

I think the best language to teach your children is your first language, start easy and progress to the more difficuilt :)

I will go with Mandarin or French.

Latin can be good choice, if she is showing traits for history.

Don't know if its because I'm from the west coast but I say Spanish. Currently that is the way to go, I understand that worldwide Mandarin might take over but I still think Spanish is major in the US, at least in the west coast.

Spanish is a good language to learn in America… definatley.:k:

I still think Mandarin is the easiest to learn though and therefore the best option in terms of picking up… but then again you could decide to learn that later as it’s so easy. :slight_smile:

Spanish you definatley best get fammiliar with earlier becuase it’s hard to get yourself into it when your older.

I would say french but I'm biased :D I learnt French in school, found its easy to pick up and quite liked learning it !

Yes French is also quite easy to pick up... especially if your exposed to it early on in life.
