Top for large things would have to be the refrigerator. Next would be the microwave and than the stove. Or maybe the microwave and stove are a toss up because I would have to have one or the other.
As far as small things go, I would say that I would miss measuring spoons. I use them all the time.
Re: What kitchen item would you most miss if you lost it?
Everything .. I am so addicted to everything in my kitchen that last week we were at a friends place and she hardly uses any machinery and gadgets and I felt it like an impossible task to cook in her kitchen
In smaller things , I cant ever lose this particular knife I have .. its really sharp and has perfect handle shape ..cant live without it
Re: What kitchen item would you most miss if you lost it?
I used to have these cooking spoons…
I lost both of them last year…they broke…
I thought I will never be able to cook again…
Oh well I got over them after a while…
I second that…I also have a favourite knife which I simply cannot live without.I almost had a coronary once when I thought I lost it,and was frantically searching through all the rubbish when Mr CO told me he used it for DIY..phew.
Apropos the above I have a mandolin/slicer/chopper which I use every day for my onions…so that would be what I would miss the most.

Cutting board and knife. I do all of the grunt work in the kitchen (i.e. fine chopping and masala grinding). I must, must, must have my cutting board and knifeto get my assigned tasks done.
