I used a regular shampoo and my red looks like mud today.
Tomorrow, I will go back to the sulfate free stuff but it just feels so rough to me. No moisture in it. ![]()

Re: What kind of shampoos do you all use to prolong your hair color?
i use loreal's sulfate free shampoo and it works o.k for me. however i shampoo once a week. reds/voilets fades faster than any other colour
Re: What kind of shampoos do you all use to prolong your hair color?
i've heard good things about "hair one" which sally beauty supply sells, people have said it's a knock off of wen, which i think you had mentioned a couple thread's back was good, the reviews say that it keeps hair color from fading and the color stays bright even after one month of using it.
hair one is on my to buy wish list for now
Re: What kind of shampoos do you all use to prolong your hair color?
I have hair one actually. I used WEN for two months before realizing $30 bux a month is too much for shampoo right now.
Re: What kind of shampoos do you all use to prolong your hair color?
^how is the hair one working out for you or is that the one that feels rough to you? how is it in terms of prolonging your hair color?
Re: What kind of shampoos do you all use to prolong your hair color?
Hair one is actually really good.
My hair is curly so I tend to go for shampoos that are rich in moisture which is why the WEN is awesome for me. Hair one does the same thing. There really isn't much difference aside from thee WEN being a bit more rich. I love rich shampoos.
I recently tried an Argan oil based shampoo but it was really rough on my hair. I think I am going to go back to the Hair one and wash with a color extending conditioner.
