what kind of devar-Bhaabi, jaith-bhaabi, nand-bhaabi, nandoi-salaa, or nandoi-saali relationships d you guys have? are you almost as close as blood siblings or is it not that close? I have an older brother so i would be a dewar when he gets married

I think women **usually **get along with their jeths/devars.... and some tend to be closer to their devars if they're unmarried...I know my husband is close to all his bhabis and talks to the eldest one every so often.
I think it depends, on how much effort you put in to the relationship and where you live, obviously if you all don't live in the same roof, it requires more effort to be build a close and loving relationship. Some blood-sibling relationships aren't even that close, so its kinda useless to compare.

my Bhabhii is by far the BESTEST Bhabhii ever! she is like my mom. she raised us from childhood as my mom had passed away at a young age of only 45. she took care of all of us financially, physically, emotionally and in any way that you can imagine! she is an angel for all of us and for the entire extended family...she has been doing this for the last 35 long years!

I get along with all of them, but we don't really have anything in common. My sis in law is still a little kid so nothing in common or to talk abt there.. other than what kind of barbie she wants me to send to her from USA. Brother in laws are not that close to hubby so I don't really talk to them either, plus all my in laws live in Pak. But they're all very nice.
I get along really well with my husbands cousins who live close by.

I have 3 nands and I get along great with them. Infact, my oldest nand came to stay with us last weekend and me and her took a road trip to Chicago together (without my husband as he had to work). My devar is very quiet and keeps to himself, but there is no tension or anything in our relationship. He is very respectful, and he knows that he can ask me for anything.

A very formal one. I've a bhabhi, she is married to my eldest brother, so is about 6 years older than me. We dont have much in common, thus not much to talk about. There are no tension among us, but there are fundamental things where we dont see eye to eye, though its not something we discuss, just something I have observed. They dont live with us, so its easy to keep the formal thing going on and hard to get out of it. I should probably add, I'm not much of a chatter either.

i have a brother in law (my sister's husband). My relationship with him ... well they came over while i was napping and he woke me up by putting a cold smoothie on the back of my neck. I think that about sums up our relationship.

My brother in law and sister in law are amazing! They're both younger than me (17+20) and we all get along so well. Often just going out on our own little trips. And everyone has come to notice that bro-in law listens to me a lot and hardly anyone else lol! We're always laughing and messing around! Sometimes i think I've finally got the brother and sister that are as crazy as me because my own sisters are really quiet! Alhumdulillah

My SIL is like my best friend. Guess it helps that we've been close since childhood as she is also my cousin, but since marrying my brother and moving here we have become extra close. Can't wait for her to have her baby!

Hubby’s elder bro was the first “-in-law” I was introduced to, because he was the first person my hubby confided to after we decided to take the plunge 
. He was in the US that time and came over to meet me. It started out as a formal relationship, but we’ve become good friends now. It’s taken time because we meet him and SIL only once a year during our annual des trip.

Me and my three SILs are good friends..but Iv never spoken to my BIL or faced him..though we live in the same house..when Im sitting somewhere he doesnt come there and vice versa..same with FIL..but atleast we face eachother if not talk..
