Other than Rambo and Commando, what kind of movies do people watch in Pakistan? Average people who live in the big cities, and have a moderate to good understanding of English. I am assuming action flicks are very popular, and so are martial arts and silly comedy movies.
I was surprised to hear that Borat is unheard of in Pakistan. I thought that movie had Pakistani style humor written all over it. Are those movies like Knocked Up and Superbad popular? It’s just crazy humor. Maybe too much dialog based. I am going to bet the Fast and Furious series is wickedly popular there.
Please don’t assume your Karachi Grammar, LUMS, Aitchison friends and classmates are average, and don’t provide examples of their choice of only watching Martin Scorsese and Kubrick movies. They are not average people.
