Is it really all out, over the top luxury with everything and anything available to them in a moments notice? I imagine that the Emirs and the people directly responsible have a lot of stress from work and responsibilties. So the real fun is being had by the first cousins or immediate family members who don’t have that my responsibility, so they spend their time having fun.

Yep thts very true…Princes in Saudi Arabia live richer lives than the king himself…Seeing that we have thousands of princes, tht must be a lotta money goin around the royal family…The King has all the resposnibilities, but the princes and even their decendents (also considered princes, thts why we have thousands in saui) enjoy all the luxuries available…rich ppl, but not wise when it comes to money-management

thinking of ways to spend all that money and have fun is very tiring and stressful
you guys just dont understand
im sure they have problems too, pool not at the right temp, wives not geting on with each other... trying to decide which one to behead...

Living a luxurious life is not a sin or anything, once you have earned it fair and square, I think you have the right to spend it as you want. The problem is when you accumulate all this wealth through non-legit ways and without any transparency, which gives you the power to become above the law. Now I think this is what is going on in Pakistan as well, where we have this immunity in constitution for the leaders as well. So its not just the Amirs and the princes but

Well I wasn't asking how much money they waste or what not, just what kind of a lifestyle do they have. I think Lazy_Daisy nailed it, what she mentioned is what I am talking about. So the Emir builds a new pool and doesn't like it. Does he build another one or he just says "Oh well, gotta do for now". What if his Rolls Royce starts having a minor problem, does he say "Abbay yaar, chalu char sal purani hay, yeh to hota hi hay".
How rich are those Emirs of Fujirah and Umm-al-Qiyawan? Are they super rich, or just rich?
