He is asking about rebellious years meaning early teenage years. If as a teenager you knew there is such thing called logic and could weigh the consequences of your actions then I admire and salute you.
There is only one simple logic at play in those years wrong actions=abba ka danda ya amma key jotian.
Teenagers defy all logic. Raging Hormones are the only thing which drives them and abba ka danda ya amma key jotian (not literally but you know what I mean) act as brakes on those raging hormones.
In US it is very difficult to deal with rebellious teenagers , because abba ka danda and amma key jotian cannot be used as deterrents but there are other deterrents as effective as abba ka danda ya amma key jotian.
Religion , logic , morals are at the back burners at that age. Yes when we pass those years then we give credence to religion , logic , morals , society , norms etc.
At least that is what I think and felt as a teenager and now as a parent.

Chacha mirchi…this is what i also thought…that generally this would be the case for the majority…obviously there are exceptions… like…in early teens…whatever parents are saying usually sounds like some alien language and concepts…only in later teen years one starts to understand the logic,morals,ethics etc etc…
