I noticed that alot of desi’s use NC 40 or NC 42 as their default foundation color…im curious if you guys use the same, or have others…what is that favorite MAC number of yours? SHARE!!!

I got NC 37 but i feel its a bit light for me. I think i am nc40 aswell.

i remember i got the nc 37 too so it can be a "bit" lighter than my skin tone, however there are no yellow undertones in that foundation, so it made me look fake, NC 40 is really good

I was matched to both NW 20 and NC 20...the woman at the counter said that I had too much pink in my cheeks to go for a NC but that by forehead and chin had yellowish undertones. I stuck with NC 20 though and it's fine, probably because I sheer it out with a moisturiser whenever I use it anyway.

Not a fan of their foundations, but when i did used to use them, i used to mix nc15 and nw15...

MAc is weird their products aren't consistent. i used one of their foundation 4 years ago, and it broke out my skin like never before. it took me about 4 months to get over the damage. then i used that fluid foundation which didn't break me out like that but i did notice a spot or two after using it. now i am using their studio sculpt foundation, and ALHAMDULILAH i have not broken out from it yet, and since i have dry skin it works very well for me. i am not sure if oily skin ppl can say the same for it.

You’re totally right, their products aren’t consistent…the foundations did weird things to my skin too…and i’ve never had problem skin!! 
Are MAC foundations non-comedogenic?

yeh it’s the gel like one. i like it’s texture, very light, i can’t feel it on my skin.
and i am sure their products and non-comedogenic.

MAC claim they don't use pore blocking oils in their foundations but I don't think they actually use the term "non-comedogenic". I don't think they are non comedogenic tbh....my mum breaks out with MAC as well so she uses Estee Lauder and Bobbi Brown instead. I've not had problems thankfully.

I haven't found a good foundation for myself yet, that I can use during the day.

mac is over-hyped.
perhaps because they are all about making sales and spreading the word about their products and hyping things up to make money.
