Rule in my home :

• Finish off the purana khana before toot par’ing on the newly cooked food and meetha

thats about it .. for everything else .. I made several rules but it took em less then an hour to break all of them

i tried to follow this rule but couldnt do it and ended up throwing rotis and salan last night i know its really really bad

§ bedtime no later than 9:30 p.m.
If you have any homework or other important to-do things, you are welcome to get up as early as 3 a.m. (I’ll be at your service to wake you up) but bed time can not be changed!
I know it sounds cruel to many in this day and age but you know its been a blessing for me and my kids…

§ **Dinner time no later than 7 pm…it usually keeps moving between 6-7 depending on Isha congregation time at the mosque in our area …but no later than 7:00

**All meal times are a family time…we eat together, Alhamdulillah

Everyone is to pray at jamaat time…when boys head to mosque, my daughter and i say our prayers at that time…no delays, please!

-keep the dinner plates or tea mugs in washbasin after using,nowhere else in kitchen.....
-no foodstuff in bedroom
-when using anything e.g perfume from dressing table or anything from kitchen counter or dining table...please keep it back at the same place after using!!!! lol

i was the only one making rules and all else (my hubby being top on list) was breaking and encouraging others same so at the moment we hav no more written rules. we just go with the flow now. this keeps tension at bay.

Don't know about official osool but one thing i follow is i do not eat anything after 8 or 9pm. Also i eat healthy amount of fruits and veges a day. Also, since i am very hygenic person..i keep everything clean. Be it my clothes, dishes or washroom.
